On May 6, 2024, colleagues from Hasan II University accepted an invitation to the Department of Geography, Geoinformatics and Regional Development. prof. Moulay Sadik Maliki, PhD. from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Ben M' Sik and Dr. Omar El Ghazi from the Department of International Cooperation and Partnerships from the city of Casablanca, Morocco. This is the historically first form of international cooperation with this country within the Erasmus+ program KA171.

Prof. Moulay Sadik Maliki, PhD. he gave an interesting lecture about Morocco, its natural conditions, where he focused on climate and earthquake issues. He also addressed the structure of the population, the urban and rural environment, and ended the lecture with the topic of tourism and its potential in the country. Dr. Omar El Ghazi presented the composition of the university and individual faculties.

Both lectures attracted students of both study programs in geography. The meeting was very stimulating for all, which resulted in a rich discussion. After the lecture, the possibilities of future cooperation in the form of publication or project activity were discussed.
