Abstract
The aim of this paper is a political-geographical analysis of the economic diplomacy of the Slovak Republic based on government documents and real economic relations of the Slovak Republic in the regions of the world. The article focuses on the evaluation of the official program priorities of the Slovak Republic in the framework of economic diplomacy, as well as on the real economic and political ties of the Slovak Republic in the period 2016-2020. We also identify changes in territorial trade relations and compare them with strategic documents and forecasts. Subsequently, we analyze the changes in the development of the organizational functioning of economic diplomacy from 2020, as well as the strategic outlook of economic diplomacy in the medium term.
